Natalie Jimenez

Natalie Jimenez (She/Her/Ella) is the Lead Major Advisor for the Interdisciplinary Studies in Three Departments Major. She started at SDSU in August 2021 and has been diligently working to enhance student achievement and promote educational equity for underrepresented students in higher education. She earned her Bachelor's in Psychology from CSU Channel Islands. She went on to earn her Master's in Education Counseling and a Graduate Certificate in Restorative Justice Practices and Trauma-Informed Care from San Diego State University. As a Major Advisor, Natalie engages in proactive advising outreach, offering guidance and counseling to students on their personalized academic success plans and monitoring their progress and achievements through holistic approaches. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and dog, exploring local farmers markets, or enjoying a long run.
