Alison Aiken

Alison graduated from San Diego State University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies, with emphasis in Political Science, Sociology, and Women's Studies. She recently graduated with a Master of Arts in Peace and Justice from the University of San Diego. During her time at San Diego State University, she was heavily involved in student organizations, serving as the President of the SDSU College Democrats and the Community Outreach Coordinator for the Andrea O'Donnell Women's Outreach Association. At the University of San Diego, she worked in student support services, mentoring undergraduate students involved in the USD College Corps Program and overseeing campus partnerships with community organizations. She will begin her teaching career at San Diego State University in the Fall of 2024, leading classes in both the IS3D and General Studies Departments.
